कर्णिकारः 1 N. of a tree; Cassia fistula. The golden yellow flower of this tree has its petals bending in- wards so that the flower looks like a saucer. Its stamens and style are longer than the petals and looks like so many wicks juttling out of an oil lamp. cf.
